Sammy Abu-Saoud

Sammy moved to Maui in 2014 with one backpack and no plans. The passion for travel and adventure brought him to Maui, but the lifestyle and community kept him from leaving. Now he is happy to call Maui home, and Compass Hawaii his place of work.

Sammy graduated from San Francisco State University, with a BA in Communication Studies. Since then he had been fortunate to spend a couple years backpacking the globe, and continuing to grow and learn. He is trilingual (English, Arabic, Spanish) and he's always looking to take on more.

A career as a food and beverage specialist has allowed Sammy to constantly connect with a diverse array of people. Now he is looking to work with people on a more personal level and help others live out their dreams here on Maui.

He's passionate about helping other people in all ways possible. Being able to assist others call Maui home, and continue to call it home is a dream come true.
